3 months

Arrghhhh!!! I cannot believe Hayden is THREE months! Where is the time going?? These 3 months have been so awesome! She is such a good baby, and I am very lucky. She is also a very happy baby! We had a crabby week a little while back, but now she is back to her happy self. I love seeing all the new little things she does now! She has definitely found her voice, feet, and hands. I literally sit here and just watch her, and talk to her until I realize I've been doing it for hours and she is probablly hungry or needs a diaper change. She is starting to pick things up now, but they go straight to her mouth. Her toes fascinate her, and she tries catching them all the time, lol. She is still absolutely in love with the TV. Her little noises crack me up everyday! She is such a loud little baby! She is also a HUGE slobber monster! She soaks her bibs within minutes! Anyone else have a slobber monster? If I don't put on a bib we have to do a onesie change within about 30 minutes. We are still loving our bumbo chair, and boppy, as well as her swing. She is starting to like her playmat more and more. I'm also becoming more and more obsessed with BabyLegs! I seriously think I need help. They are just SO cute!

My mom just got her a little baby einsteins exosaucer or whatever they are called. I think she is still a little small for that. I want to get her the Luv Zoo jumparoo thingy maybe in a month or so when she is a little bigger. We are in 0-3 month sleepers, or 3 months in carters. Her 0-3 month onesies are still pretty big on her, haha. She is just a little peanut! We are also still in size 1 diapers. I actually just opened a case of size 1-2 in huggies, and they are kinda big. After this case I think we're going to go back to Luvs. I've tried each brand and surprisingly Luvs were my fave. Here are some 3 month pictures!

she is NOT a patriots fan!

Jeremiah is a Patriots fan, and I, of course, am a Bears fan! He is determined to make Hayden into a Patriots fan though. I'll have to make sure that DOESN'T happen. Lol. It started when she was just 3 weeks old. Poor baby!!

my little bottle monster!

Hayden gets so aggressive with her bottle sometimes! She starts grunting like she just can't get enough. I think it is so funny, but it also can become quite annoying because she moves so much and becomes a job to feed her! She gets those hands moving and everything...by the time she is done I am wore out! HAHA! Here is what I mean -

our 2 month check up

Yesterday was our two month check up at the doctor. It was also Hayden's first shots. :-( The pediatrician said that she is eating very well, the little white marks on her gums that I thought were teeth are actually called epstein pearls, and they are nothing to worry about. I also showed her the little nub on her belly button that is hard, and seems like a very small part of the umbilical cord that didn't fall off. They said they would keep an eye on it...hopefully it'll fall off on its own, and she won't have to have it frozen off. 2 month stats -
  • Weight - 10 lbs 3 oz
  • Length - 22 1/2 inches
  • Head Size - 15 1/2 inches
  • Yep, she is just a little peanut! Then came the shots! Argghhhhhh!!!!! The first shot, she whined. Second shot she started to cry...but it wasn't bad. The THIRD shot! Oh man! She was full speed ahead on the crying train! I gave her what was left in her bottle which calmed her down but as soon as she finished it she was back to crying. The DR said if it seemed like they were sore (her legs) that I could give her 0.3 ml of infant tylenol. Oh, got it. I'll just ask her in a hour if they are sore. I decided that I would stop at walgreens and grab her some infant tylenol. Once I got her in the car seat and in the car she was already asleep. I ran into walgreens grabbed the infant tylenol, and then went home. She was passed out the entire time! When she woke up I decided to give her the tylenol. When we would pick her up, and if we touched her legs where she had gotten her shots she would start crying like she was in pain. Jeremiah and I had our fantasy football draft, so she was laying in her rock and play while we drafted all of our players. She must have been feeling really good after taking that tylenol because she was laughing and going on all crazy. I figured she would have just slept, but no. She seemed completely fine though, she wasn't fussy, and slept through the night like she always does. I am so glad she doesn't need anymore for another 2 months!
